Six arrested in connection with flash mob robbery at Westfield Topanga Mall

Six people were arrested for their alleged part in a flash mob robbery at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park last week.
The incident happened at around 5:15 p.m. on Friday at the popular shopping center located in the 21700 block of Victory Boulevard. It was there that about a dozen suspects flooded two different stores at the mall, taking off with more than $90,000 worth of merchandise before fleeing from the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspects, who police say were wearing masks and hoodies, were caught on video as they grabbed what looked to be high-end designer handbags and clothings before running from the shopping center. It all happened in less than 10 minutes.

In all, three adults and two juveniles were arrested and booked on robbery charges. They were identified as 22-year-old Joshua Jones, 19-year-old Amaya McDonald and 18-year-old Justin Jones. The latter two had their bail set at $150,000 while the elder Jones’ bail was set at $1,085,000, police said.
Another suspect about two hours later by Huntington Beach Police Department officers. During the arrest of 26-year-old Rajene Robinson, officer allegedly found stolen items inside of the car. She was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property and is being held without bail.
Neither of the juvenile suspects were identified by police.
